Attending the Fairford Air Tattoo with Ian for about five consecutive years provided many highlights for both of us to share. To be close to the deafening roar of military aircraft carrying out impossible manoeuvres through a blue sky gave us huge thrills as we sipped our beers and ate our picnics.
